Andres Martinez joined the Innovative Roofing Group in 2005 on a Production Crew. We value his skills (which are unrivaled), his experience and loyalty (15+ years at IRG). We asked Andres a few questions to help our customers get to know him a little better.
How Did You Get Into The Roofing Industry?
I started in the Roofing Industry in 2000 when a friend of mine convinced me to give it a try. Little did I know at the time, I found a career. I joined Innovative Roofing Group in 2005 where I have remained since.
Describe Your Role at Innovative Roofing Group
As one of several Production Crew Foremen at Innovative Roofing Group, I am responsible to safely execute an awarded scope of work. I oversee 8-12 roofers and laborers. The work varies week-to-week as sometimes, we are delivering a roof recover and others we may be mobilized on a large commercial new construction project.
What Do You Like Most About Your Job?
Playing a role in transforming a building is my favorite part of the job. Seeing a pristine, newly installed roof never gets old, especially in a reroof application.
What Is Your Favorite Memory Of Working at Innovative Roofing Group?
At IRG, we typically have several employee get-togethers during the year. My favorite is the Christmas Party.
Tell Us About Your Family
I’m blessed with a beautiful and supportive wife with whom I have three beautiful children; Evelyn (11), Aundra (7) and Andres Jr. (2). My spare time is spent with them.
What Is Your Favorite Sports Team?
I am a big basketball fan and my team is the Miami Heat. We had a great run this year!
