Commercial Roofing – Restoration

Well-maintained roofs can often be restored, adding to their service life, at a relatively low cost. The trick to quality restoration is the completion of a comprehensive and honest condition assessment of the roof by a consultant or qualified roofing contractor. This should include an infrared scan to ensure that any moisture trapped in the existing roof system can be identified and removed prior to the application of a restoration coating. Once all stakeholders are confident in restoration as a suitable course of action for the roof, an experienced applicator should always be selected to execute the work.

An Acrylic Elastomeric Coatings was applied on top of this Modified Bitumen roof on Brawley Hall at Morehouse College to provide greater reflectivity and to extend the commercial roof’s life.

On this Modified Bitumen Roof at the Henry County Jail, a Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating was being applied over a Modified Bitumen roof to extend it’s life.

The life of a commercial can often be extended with a restoration coating. In this instance, the aging TPO roof over the Scofflaw Brewery in Atlanta was restored with a high solids Silicone Elastomeric Coating that was spray applied.

We engaged innovative Roofing to perform a roof replacement on our commercial property in Alpharetta, GA in early 2021. As we went through the selection process, Innovative was the most thorough in diligence of the existing roof and attention to the specification. In our precontract session we quickly gained comfort because the team had been together for a number of years, they were well organized, and we were confident they would field a team to execute the work and sustain a relationship from replacement through service.
