Dekedrick Gearing will be celebrating his 4th anniversary at Innovative Roofing Group in April. He is a multi-talented roofer who is skilled in TPO, EPDM, torch, hot tar work and much more. He is a very dependable employee and an all-around good guy. The workday passes quickly when you are on a crew with Dekedrick because he puts everyone in a good mood with his comedic personality.
Dekedrick grew up in Tennessee, is the middle child in his family, and has great admiration for his mother. He proudly calls her “the epitome of a strong black woman.”
One of Dekedrick’s favorite memories working for IRG happened during a work trip to Destin, Florida. He hung up a dollar bill on a restaurant wall among dozens of other dollars that were displayed with patron’s names on them. Dekedrick could have chosen to write his own name but instead he chose to write IRG. Though this may seem like a simple gesture it is just one example of how he demonstrates a company-minded attitude. We are lucky to have Dekedrick at Innovative Roofing Group.
