John Peasley is an Account Manager who joined our team in 2018 after being in the roofing industry for a year and a half. Prior to that John had a 30-year career in advertising sales. He spent 15 years in New York City and 15 years running his own
firm in Atlanta. We feel lucky that this hard-working, kind, dedicated, funny ad-man decided to bring his passion and ‘can do’ attitude to Innovative Roofing Group.
How long have you been in the Roofing Industry? How did you get into the business?
2022 puts me a little over 5 years in roofing. Advertising was battered by the rise in digital media giving me an opportunity to ‘re-invent’ myself.
Please provide a description of your role at Innovative Roofing Group?
My role is to build relationships and expand our business by touting IRG’s strengths and excellent work.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy watching the work crews come up with creative solutions to complex roofing problems and then putting together strategic proposals to pitch to our customers in order to land the job.
What is your favorite memory of working at Innovative Roofing Group?
Receiving the 2021 Founder’s Award was very humbling. We can all strive to get better in all aspects of our lives every day!

Tell us about your family. What do you like to do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies?
My family is amazing. I have a wonderful wife (Sue), 2 great kids (Meagan & Bryan), 4 fabulous grandkids (Briella, Noah, Adam & James), and Sue and I are blessed to have both of our parents too. Our free time is spent with our grandkids, family, and friends. I also read a lot; probably 15 books a year at minimum. I gravitate toward inspirational, motivational, faith, and business-related books.
Favorite Sports Team?
I don’t have a particular team I follow but I like seeing an UNDERDOG story come to life and prevail in victory. The Bengals are a good example this year.
