Mark Frazier joined the Innovative Roofing Group in January of 2017 as the Service Department Dispatch Manager. He is one of the most professional and responsive individuals you will ever meet. In fact, we are pretty sure he sleeps with his mobile phone on his pillow! This is a pretty valuable service in the commercial roofing industry here in the Southeast where extreme weather events are so common. IRG is very proud and fortunate to be represented by Mark.
How did you get into the Roofing industry?
I have managed service departments in the construction trades since 2006. This has included stints with companies in the Plumbing, HVAC and Roofing markets. Prior to joining Innovative, I worked at Tip Top Roofers.
Describe your role at Innovative Roofing Group?
I field service requests directly from customers and from IRG Account Managers. I dispatch our large team of technicians (one of the largest commercial roofing service departments in all of the Southeast) to make repairs, routing them in the most efficient manner possible. During large rain events this can be quite a challenge because in our industry, customers tend to experience issues at the same time. I review completed repair tickets for workmanship and pricing. All the while, I try to keep our customers informed about our findings and progress.
What do you like most about your job?
The sense of completion after a client’s problems have been solved.
What is your favorite memory of working at Innovative Roofing Group?
There are many but, in general, I take great pride in witnessing the professional growth and maturity of our technicians as members of the IRG team. Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face.
What should someone in need of commercial roofing help know about the team at Innovative Roofing Group?
We Care! Period!! We take pride in our work and treat all of our clients like family.
Tell us about your family?
I am a widower with two beautiful daughters and five wonderful grandchildren.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I volunteer at my church as often as they need me.
What is your favorite sport’s team(s)?
You can take the boy out of Chicago but you can’t take Chicago out of the boy! Bears, Bulls and Cubs, for life.
