Francisco Parra Esquivel (AKA Paco) joined our team in 2015 working as a fabricator in the Sheet Metal Department. Paco is a “can do anything” employee and is often sent out on our most complicated jobs. Not only is Paco an adept roofer who learns new skills with ease, but he is also a dedicated employee who comes to work with a smile on his face every single day. We are lucky that Paco has chosen to work at Innovative Roofing Group.
How did you get into the Roofing industry?
I have been in the roofing industry for 26 years. I started working for IRG salesman, Mark Tanner, who owned his own contracting business at that time. Mark gave me a solid foundation in the roofing and construction industry and because of that experience I have a well-rounded set of skills.
Describe your role at Innovative Roofing Group?
I have the opportunity to do a little of everything from metalwork, to diagnosing roofing problems, and working in tandem with team members as unique roofing deficiencies arise.
What do you like most about your job?
Every day in the roofing industry is different than the day before and I like that challenge. I am very detailed oriented and take great pride in completing quality work for every customer. I am also a perfectionist when it comes to my sheet metal work.
What is your favorite memory of working at Innovative Roofing Group?
One of my favorite memories was being the 2017 recipient of the Employee of the Year for the Sheet Metal Department. (Paco was the first person to win this award the year it was established!)
Tell us about your family?
I am the oldest of 12 children (5 brothers and 6 sisters)! All of my siblings live in Mexico.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like listening to music, working on the chicken farm and watching Futball (soccer).
