Innovative Roofing Group has a family feel to it. Perhaps one of the reasons is due to the fact that so many of our team members are related to one another. On staff we have; siblings, cousins, husbands, wives, fathers and sons. We take it as an enormous compliment when one team member wants to bring another family member aboard. The Lopez Family is one of the many families that make IRG special. The “Roys” as they are affectionately called, work in our service department and have been with us since 2017. Roy Lopez Jr is one half of a father/son team and serves as an exemplary Service Foreman. Roy Jr completed a 2-year roofing certification program at Atlanta Tech and is highly skilled in all types of roofing systems. We are lucky to have Roy Lopez Jr servicing our customers at IRG!
How long have you been in the Roofing Industry? How did you get into the business?
I have been in roofing for 13 years. I started right after I graduated high school.
Please provide a description of your role at Innovative Roofing Group?
I am a service foreman. I diagnose and repair leaks and do small roofing projects.
What do you like most about your job?
I get to see different locations, travel to places I never imagined I get to see and work in the outdoors.
What is your favorite memory of working at Innovative Roofing Group?
I have a lot of good memories at IRG but I like the company get togethers the most because we all just get to have a good time.
Tell us about your family.
I am married and I have a 5-year-old son.
What do you like to do in your spare time or on your days off? Do you have any hobbies?
I love off-road vehicles and during the summer time my family and I like to go camping.
Favorite Sports Team?
I like to follow soccer.
