Teri Stallion has been a dedicated member of our team for 15 years. She currently serves as a Field Superintendent, where she oversees all of our projects from award to completion. She works hard managing our crews to ensure that IRG’s high standard of safety and workmanship are being met on each project. We asked Teri a few questions to help our customers get to know her, and the roofing industry, a little better.
How did you get into the Roofing industry?
In 1983, I started working for Southern Reserve Roofing in Akron, Ohio. Even today, it’s unusual to find a woman working in the field as a commercial roofer, but back when I started, I was all alone. However, I loved it from my very first day and, over time, I experienced just about everything one could on a roof. In the winter of 1985, instead of getting furloughed in Akron, I took a temporary job with Southern Reserve in Atlanta. I never left!
What do you like most about your job?
I’ve been working roofing for nearly forty years and I still get excited seeing a building transformed by a beautiful new roof. I find it very rewarding!
Do you have any advice for those considering roofing services for their commercial property?
Be certain to check the qualifications and references of your roofing contractor and perform regular maintenance.
What is your favorite memory of working at Innovative Roofing Group?
In 2008, I was honored by the National Roofing Contractors Association with The Best of The Best Award and I was featured in Professional Roofing Magazine.
What do you like to do in your spare time or on your days off?
I spend my spare time with my family, including my husband Bobby (a journeyman roofer), my son Anthony, my daughter Tiffany (my team member at IRG), and my granddaughter Alyssa.
