The Home Owners Association at Smyrna Market Village selected Innovative Roofing Group to perform the roof replacement on the condominiums. IRG was chosen, in large part because of our safety record and our safety plans regarding the reroofing at this bustling, mixed use property in the heart of “downtown” Smyrna, that has extensive vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The two multifamily buildings, totaling 364 squares, had been experiencing leaks for years. When the existing shingle system was removed, considerable roof decking rot, due to prolonged moisture exposure, was discovered. All of the damaged decking was replaced, peel and stick underlayment was installed, followed by the nailing of handsome GAF Timberline HD shingles. The dormers were restored with an acrylic elastomeric coating system. The project was completed successfully in under two weeks.
